About Joanne Nelson
Real Estate investing has always been of interest to me. In 1990, I obtained a Real Estate license to learn more about buying and selling real estate. I thought I could work part time and help people fulfill their ownership dreams. Soon enough, I found that helping people buy and sell was a full time job.Since 1990, I have not only sold many properties but I have also invested in some. My involvement then expanded to Company co-ownership and Property Management. Over the years, I have worked with many clients while specializing in the sale of residential homes, farms and ranches. The most honored award that I ever received was the Realtor’s choice Award from my peers as the Realtor other agents most enjoyed working with.
My background is in the Midwest. I was born and raised on an Iowa dairy farm and attended a one room, country, grade school. I have a Masters degree in English from the University of Iowa and taught High School English in Iowa for several years before moving to Oregon.
Besides real estate, I am an active Board of Directors member of Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation and Lebanon Community Foundation (Cheadle Park), Lebanon Rotary Club, and a member of Build Lebanon Trails.
Buying and selling real estate takes hard work and devoted service which I am willing to give.
